“David is probably the most proficient and detail-oriented editor and proofreader I’ve met! As a PhD student, I understand the importance of technical accuracy in writing and have been grateful for David’s tireless and passionate revision. Because he takes the time to provide one-on-one attention to his clients, editing is a productive undertaking instead of the anxiety-driven task it can sometimes be!” – Lorinda Stoneman, SOLOS
“David was prompt and professional, asked important questions, and provided both editorial and substantive suggestions that proved invaluable. My material was time sensitive and he was able to complete the job on budget and ahead of schedule. I recommend him without reservation.” – Johannes Wheeldon, Assistant Professor, Norwich University, VT
“David Antrobus is the kind of editor a writer dreams about. He has a keen eye and understands the difference between lay and lie. He also genuinely wants to make writing better. He’ll be editing my stuff for a LONG time.” – JD Mader, author of Joe Cafe, The Biker and Hannigan’s Fight
“After endlessly searching for an editor that I would be comfortable with David Antrobus was recommended to me. David’s editing service far exceeded my expectations. He was able to adapt to my writing style and thereby enhance my novel without changing the ‘voice’. I would highly recommend David Antrobus to any serious writers looking for editing.” – David Yuzuk, author of Cities of Sand and Stone
“I recommended David Antrobus to my son David as an editor for his book, Cities of Sand and Stone. In reviewing David A.’s work, it is excellent and I look forward to having him as the editor on my upcoming book, Beachside PD: Undercover.” – Neil L Yuzuk, author of Beachside PD Books
“David took on a project for me that I needed completed asap. He got it done in the time frame he promised and his work was far more meticulous than I could ever have imagined. I would not hesitate to recommend him and will definitely be using him for my upcoming novels.” – Martin Crosbie, author of the novels My Temporary Life and My Name Is Hardly
“I’ve worked with numerous editors over the years, but none have made the process so smooth as David. Not only is he a consummate professional, his work gives me the security to know what I am publishing is truly ready for public consumption.” – Jack Wallen, author of Hell’s Muse and Klockwerk Kabaret
“David kept me well informed during every step in the process of editing my manuscript. When needed he sent me questions and his comments in the document were so thorough, I felt as if he were having a conversation rather than exchanging messages. My book is a hundred times better for having worked with him.” – Mohanalakshmi Rajakumar, author of Mommy but Still Me and Coloured and Other Stories
“After using several editors and still finding mistakes I was getting frustrated. I wanted someone who could not only edit for spelling and grammar but also add some perspective and depth to improve the quality of the books that I write. David Antrobus was recommended to me through another author, and he has been amazing. David’s editing services far exceeded what I was looking for; he is precise, accurate and extremely passionate about his work. He has added depth to my work and made me a better writer. He was able to enhance my children’s books without changing the ‘message.’ I would highly recommend David Antrobus to anyone looking for editing. If there were a star rating I would give David Antrobus a five out of five.” – Tony Jurgens, author of The Gurnafandry Chronicles

David was really easy to work with and took the time to research the industry I am in to get a better understanding of what I wanted. He hit the nail on the head and was able to capture the theme of the site perfectly. I hope to use David in the future and recommend him for your next project!” – Mark Telfer, Protective Surface Coatings
“I like David. He’s thorough, prompt, professional and reasonably priced. “Doing anything the first time can be a nerve racking experience and that includes writing a novel. But I have to say working with David was an enjoyable experience. He was professional, funny, and paid attention to detail. I don’t know how many questions I asked or how much we went back and forth but I do know he was always patient and always responsive. My book now being complete I can say that I am proud of the finished product thanks in no small part to David.” – Thelonious Legend, author of Sins Of The Father (The Ascension Trilogy)
“My decision to self-publish was long and agonizing in part because I knew I’d need to find an editor that I trusted and worked well with. I feel extremely lucky that I found David who was recommended to me (highly) by an independent writer who’d worked with him in the past. From the very first sample, it was clear he knew his stuff. I can write all day long, but if you ask me about comma rules my mind goes blank. David doesn’t flinch at commas (which I totally needed), but more than that – he clearly loves his work and took extreme care when going through my writing. I actually feel as though I’m a better writer after working with him and, really, what more can you ask than that? I recommend David without hesitation and plan to work with him on my next book (and the one after that and…)” – Jacqueline Dooley, author of Doorways to Arkomo
“David Antrobus worked with us recently on our Epic Fantasy novel The Road to the King, copy-editing and proofreading, first and second pass. Not only did he provide us a fair quote for said services up front, but he fully explained the process, came up with a reasonable payment plan and kept in frequent contract. His suggestions were professional, understandable and yet respectful of the artistic process. We will utilize his services again.” – Steven and L. R. Styles, authors of The Road to the King
“What I need from an editor is all that grammar and punctuation stuff. What I want is clunky sentences to be made beautiful. David does both. I’ve had a handful of good editors over the past twenty years and hope that David will be my only and last.” – Bob Brown, author of Life Is Not Enough
